mono-xsp4 software package provides simple web server to run ASP.NET 4.0 applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-xsp4
mono-xsp4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-xsp4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-xsp4 *
You will get with mono-xsp4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
